This piece translates the month and date from seven significant events occurred during the three pandemic years (2020-2022) into the hour and minute hand of the clock, represented by five gestures (e.g., Feb 24th = 2:24).

The intention is to create a ‘‘cancelling’’ happening in a concert situation, addressing music and activities simultaneously. It reflects my recent thoughts on the inherent contradiction within all existing forms of civilization and how paradigm shift ideology and how the violence that resides in the structures of them conflicts, divides and isolates people: the loss of intellectual intimacy and mediator of society.

Cancelling Rule:
• Conductor shall use gestures demonstrated to divide the ensemble and cancel people out one after another;

• Performers in a circle:
Included inside of conductor's arms: proceed to your next materials;
Outside of conductor's arms: stay at your current materials;

When playing different materials with your both sides: you are cancelled;

Then Stop playing, Leave the circle, start to walk around while reading self-selected striking news that influenced you most in the past three years in your native languages following instructions (e.g., Read verbs only at first, as if you are a filter, and silently read the other words; then gradually read the rest out as well.);

When the last person is cancelled, the piece ends immediately.
